Very, very pleased with the service we received since we were referred to Precision HVAC was referred to us by our contractor building us a new addition. We were guided though the decisions we needed to make when our A/C condenser died, our high-efficiency propane boiler for domestic hot water and baseboard wasn’t performing, and we needed to choose a mini-split HVAC unit for the addition. We had our 56 year old oil boiler replaced with a new gas system in Dec.2016. Tony did a great job! The entire project took just a few days. If you are considering an upgrade to gas heat this is the company you should call. They are also an approved contractor for Central Hudson,so if there are any rebates available their work is accepted.

We purchased a townhouse a year ago, three levels all on one zone, with an original thirty plus year furnace and ancient AC unit.
The finished basement was obviously renovated later and had ductwork added in weird ways thru walls and annexed boxes on the ceiling.
The first winter our bedroom was freezing ( thank you heated mattress pads), the basement never fully heated up.
After meeting with several contractors, we chose Tony. He was confident he could improve our situation. This was a huge project, a large investment that we hoped would be more energy efficient and provide heat and AC equally throughout our living space.
The pandemic hits, and we are on hold….but Tony arrives in April and spent two weeks redoing duct work, install of new furnace, replaced AC with a heat pump, added four zones instead of one for control.
Tony is responsible, professional and great to work with. He entered our home through the back patio so we had minimal contact during the shutdown. He covered floors and left every area in clean condition. Very safety conscious, arrives in suits, masks and covered boots.
I am writing this review after 6 months of having cool air during heat waves, and now have a heated basement for my grandchildren to play in and for workspace. We are able to control different areas as needed. Tony tackled a difficult job and we appreciate how he handled the task during a difficult year.
We recommended Tony to a friend and he converted her house from oil to gas. She is also a satisfied customer.

We purchased a three level townhouse, with one zone and a thirty plus year old furnace and AC unit. The basement had been finished later and was poorly done with duct work going through walls and weird boxes annexed on the ceiling. Our bedroom and basement were freezing or had little or no heat at all last winter.
We hired Tony to replace the furnace, and he suggested a heat pump instead of AC for the cooling and heating. We also wanted four zones instead of one to better control all levels of the townhouse. This was a challenging job and also happened in the middle of a pandemic shutdown.
after some delays due to COVID, Tony arrived for two weeks in April. There was some tear out in basement which he handled, he always covered areas with tarps and left everything clean. He entered through our basement patio, and when in contact was wearing a suit, mask and boots. Tony is responsible, professional and a pleasure to work with.
Six months in, I write this review after having cool air during heat waves, and now a fully heated basement for my grandkids to play and for my workspace.

I hired Precision HVAC to install a complete heating system in my home last year. Tony was easy to communicate with, clean, professional and immensely helpful in choosing the right system and ducting layout for my home. With so many choices, i felt like Tony took a lot of the work off my plate in making my decision. I went with a natural gas furnace and an ac unit which share a ducting system. It’s quiet, efficient and looks great. The house is old and tiny and while renovating i was adamant that all the ducts needed to be hidden and specific about where the vents could go. Tony did a fantastic job figuring out how to get his vents to each room without disturbing any of my antique plaster. Having dealt with many contractors during the course of this project, Precision HVAC was hands down my favorite. He also recommended a plumber that i had a great experience with as well. Tony runs a very tight business his work is thorough, clean and as his business name would indicate, precise. He’s like an HVAC Surgeon. Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience with Precision HVAC all-around. Highly recommended. We needed to get an air-source heat pump installed to help with heating a couple of rooms that are tricky to get service for due to the internal house layout. Precision called us back within an hour and a half of our initial voicemail asking for a consult. Tony arrived exactly on time for the consult and did a thorough review of our overall situation and goals – reviewed insulation, interior layout, confirmed that a split-system heat pump would probably work well, and we discussed the layout for the system. The quote offered was very competitive and very fair, and Tony fielded all our follow-up questions clearly. On the actual day of the work, the team arrived on time, worked very very efficiently and cleanly, and got the whole system up and running fully a half a day ahead of the estimated work-time. The quality of the workmanship is also frankly superb – I have gone out to look at how the system’s slimducts and hoses are all set up and everything is just so *tidy.*
Now that we have got it, we are honestly pretty thrilled, it works exactly as we hoped and the part of the house that needed help has finally had its heating/cooling issues sorted.
