We purchased a townhouse a year ago, three levels all on one zone, with an original thirty plus year furnace and ancient AC unit.
The finished basement was obviously renovated later and had ductwork added in weird ways thru walls and annexed boxes on the ceiling.
The first winter our bedroom was freezing ( thank you heated mattress pads), the basement never fully heated up.
After meeting with several contractors, we chose Tony. He was confident he could improve our situation. This was a huge project, a large investment that we hoped would be more energy efficient and provide heat and AC equally throughout our living space.
The pandemic hits, and we are on hold….but Tony arrives in April and spent two weeks redoing duct work, install of new furnace, replaced AC with a heat pump, added four zones instead of one for control.
Tony is responsible, professional and great to work with. He entered our home through the back patio so we had minimal contact during the shutdown. He covered floors and left every area in clean condition. Very safety conscious, arrives in suits, masks and covered boots.
I am writing this review after 6 months of having cool air during heat waves, and now have a heated basement for my grandchildren to play in and for workspace. We are able to control different areas as needed. Tony tackled a difficult job and we appreciate how he handled the task during a difficult year.
We recommended Tony to a friend and he converted her house from oil to gas. She is also a satisfied customer.
